Join us this Wednesday, February 19th for an evening of dinner, conversation and rich exploration of Luke’s gospel—the primary gospel text we’ll be using in our worship throughout 2025. We’ll provide a basic overview: what makes Luke’s gospel distinctive, what do we know about the author, and what are the major aesthetic themes in this evangelist’s work? We’ll also discuss a range of paintings based on Luke’s gospel and ask how images such as these might guide us into deeper engagement with our sacred text.
