Favorite saint/figure in church history: This was a hard question for me to answer because I don't know many of the Episcopal church's saints and historical figures. If you're reading this and are also still learning, know that you're welcome here. That said, I enjoy celebrating the Feast of St. Francis every year with a pet blessing.
Fun fact: I'm a quadruplet!

Favorite saint/figure in Church history: Leaders of the Civil Rights movement, especially Martin Luther King, Jr, John Lewis and James Baldwin
Fun fact: I was a journalism major in college, and print journalism specifically (to date myself), then went to medical school. I’m thankful I took that route, as I’m much more of a literature and stories person than straight science. And now as a family doctor and geriatrician I have the honor of hearing stories all the time!

The basic responsibilities of the vestry are to help define and articulate the mission of the congregation; to support the church’s mission by word and deed, to select the rector, to ensure effective organization and planning, and to manage resources and finances.
